The day shit hits the fan turns into a weekend from the past

Guys, never have so many weird happenings happened in one weekend....

So Friday went down the way it did. Saturday i woke up, wrote that post, and started looking for apartments. i brought a friend with me... you guys remember Mikey yes? Dimples best friend and my ex-boyfriend? We happen to be friends... okay strong word, lets go for acquaintances,  we've come a long way from hating each other and we've let go of old shit.

So after seeing the house, which btw was a dirt hole, we call a few more mutual friends and go for beers at Mikes condo. While everyone's partying and enjoying themselves a knock sounds on the door. duh duh DUHHHHH .

We count heads, seems everyone who should be there is there, so whose at the door?  oh ill tell you whose at the door, mikes psycho ex girlfriend, Sandra.

Sandra the girl Mikey cheated on me with 4 years ago... the girl he was dating until about a year ago. The girl who had me cringing every time i heard the name Sandra, just shows up at the door.. i always wondered what would happen if i met her.  ill tell you what happened... nothing. lol!

But isn't it funny that i can be cool with Mike, but still want to dislike Sandra? its like no matter what.. shes the bitch. Even if I'm over everything and me and mike can be civil with each other, i still would like to to hit that girl right in between her drawn on eyebrows.

Mikey ended up introducing me as "Cee" a nickname i havent gone by since i was 16, so that she wouldn't know for sure if it was in fact me. he was scared of her wrath i guess. the broads like 5'0 nothing and he's like 6'3... the elephant and the mouse.

Everyone at the party was instructed to do that same and call me by my old nickname.  it was like 2006 all over again, on so many levels. At the end of it i think she clicked in, because she ended up crying and going home, very dramatic (insert eye roll here),  so not how i wanted to feel on that particular Saturday. BTW she is uglier than i remembered, just saying.

Then Sunday comes.... I'm at the mall minding my own business when who should i bump into? Mr. D.

Ya..... in my head at this point I'm thinking " seriously god? your gonna throw all the nightmares out there at once eh?"

So he walks up, says hello, we chit chatted for about an hour when he says " the way i felt in that motel room still hasn't gone away, i still want you" i am happy to report that it didn't phase me... to that i replied " what if i told you i haven't shaved my legs since that day in the motel room?"  boner down.

I said goodbye... told him to have a good year and walked away. Got into my car just as my cousin... a cousin I'm very close to, who you may recall from a post i wrote about her wanting to break off her engagement? calls crying,  " I'm getting a divorce" again i ask god if he's serious.

I drive over and listen to how she feels and tell her that she should run to a couples therapy group instead of a divorce lawyer if she feels the way she does. She agreed but said that the only way he'll change is if she threatens him with a divorce..... so not the course of action.

But i get where shes coming from too, that need to have them chase you. Its like if they say "baby come back" then they care and are willing to change. That's bullshit, just because they say "come back" doesn't mean they are saying "i love you and I'm sorry, it wont happen again" but that's how many women and men alike hear it.

I tried to settle her down. i told her " listen, you need to accept him for who he is before you can go changing the relationship, he is not going to chase you. period. he isn't that kind of guy so this whole running to the divorce lawyer is pointless, your going to loose that fight. What you need is to discuss how your feeling after you calm down." went in through one ear and straight out the other....

and all of that my friends is why i have a shit load of work to do but cant concentrate on any of it....
i hardly did any partying this weekend, but my brain is exhausted.

Hey, go home, take a hot bubble bath with a bottle of wine. It won't make your problems go away, but at least you can come back down to earth for a bit!
