stealing an idea from a fellow blogger

So, i kind of already posted something today but i was looking through another bloggers site "a little blog about nothing" because i missed her rant and rave wednesdays this week and i needed a little laugh. anywho.. she posted a "70 things about me" section on her blog today and it was very brave, and i thought you know what im going to do it to! mostly because it gives me an excuse to talk about myself!

ah hem... and here it is.. 70 things about constar:

1. i flinch a little when i hear my middle name, Michelle, because my mom only calls me Michelle when ive pissed her off somehow! it usual comes right before the slipper throwing

2. my favourite color is red

3. im ridiculously good at geography because there used to be this big map taped to the wall next to my bed, and i would look at it and wonder about each place. seriously ask me where Jordan is cuz i totally know where it is!

4. I secretly hate potatoes. okay i openly hate potatoes unless fried and salted.

5. i love anything with salt on it

6. i have 4 siblings, and im the oldest by 6 months

7. only one of those siblings is fully related to me, the others are half and step sisters. But i couldn't imagine the world without them.

8. i have always wanted to have triplets.

9. ive always wanted curly hair and bigger boobs, i think its time that i stepped down from being the Queen of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee.

10. Alladin is my favourite Disney movie because its like Cinderella, only the guy is poor HA HA! girls rule.

11. I dressed like Jasmine 3 years in a row for Halloween

12. My best friend looks like Jasmine, and that may be why im friends with her.

14. i have an obsession with black and white movies.. especially Gigi, in fact i used to pretend to be sick from school so that i could just chill in the living room and watch Gigi. side note: "thank heavens for little girls" is kind of a creepy song

15. I have wanted to be a writer since i was 6 years old

16. i wrote my first poem, " what i see in my backyard" at 7, it won second place in some school event. First place went to another 7 year old in my class named Gia. hated that bitch.

17. i failed grade 9 math twice. The third time i took it the teacher gave me a 52% just so id never come back. Thank you Miss Hall

18. My parents got divorced when i was 5 years old

19. My earliest memory ever was of me, my mom, and my dad and little brother in a park in Downtown Toronto. My parents were playing catch, and i was climbing the monkey bars.

21. I have kept a journal since i was seven. my first journal had The Secret Garden on the front of it, it was my favourite movie at the time because i always wanted to find a secret garden, or secret room, or anything that was a secret actually.

22. I am not a religious person. i believe that there is some divine presence within all of us, and im not sure where it comes from, but im not about to let someone else tell me how to find out. Ive taken all of the different religious beliefs into consideration and have made no decisions. i believe that when i leave this place i will know the truth, and it is at the point when you need to know it, that the truth reveals itself. so i have resolved to stop looking for answers i dont need yet.

23. I used to go to Sunday School every sunday after mass, which my Zia would drag me to each week. The best part about going to church was the pretty dress + hate+ frilly sock combo i used to get to wear.

24. i speak before i think inleast 3 times a day

28. I hate book snobs, those who only read a certain type of book because they believe it makes them more intellectual. no ... it makes you an asshole who doesnt like to have any fun. Reading is meant to be an exploration of fantasy and reality NOT an excuse to be pretencious (i dunno how to spell that word)

29. i was born on May 5 at 5:45 pm which means im all fives baby

30. 5 is my lucky number

31. When i was in grade 2 my teacher noticed that i wrote my 5's backwards or facing in the opposite direction. She made me do some excersices everday after school to correct the problem, but to this day i still think it should face the other way.

32. i totally believe in past lives, and think that we will keep comming back until we have learned all of our lessons and been in everyones shoes.

33. im a smoker and am terrified of getting cancer but i cant seem to quit

35. i got 100% on a short story i wrote in my first year of University about a girl who was date raped. it was my first and last A+

37. i lost my virginity at 19 in my first year of university with my first love , i made him wait 8 months!

38. im extremely proud of number 37!

39. i wasnt actually accepted into University on the first try. I made up some story about how my parents had just divorced, as the reson for my grades dropping, so that they would accept me into the program. my dad calls it munipulation.. i call it I GOT A DEGREE BITCHES

40. i am chicken shit of authority of any kind. im trying to correct this problem.

41. i was suppose to be wearing glasses since i was 7 years old, i stopped wearing them when i was 9 and my eyesight has been deteriorating ever since.

42. I had to get stitches in my left hand once because i cut an apple with a butcher knife when i was 9 and cut the piece of skin in between in forefinger and my thumb. ya gross! the worst part was i hadnt noticed i cut myself until i realized my green apple now looked red.

43. I have never been in a physical altercation in my entire life. for 2 reasons: 1. im a lover not a fighter and 2. ive always been able to use my words and so have never had to take it that far in order to get my point across.

44. when i first met my step parents i hated them... im still pretty sure i dont like them but thats just because im being stubborn

45. im very stubborn, i once spent an entire hour trying to chop a peice of wood in two with an axe. the reason: my step dad told me that chopping wood was a mans job because women dont have the upper body strength. by the time i actually cut the piece of wood i decided to leave that job to a man... not because woman cant do it but because its just plain unenjoyable.

46. i tried my first smoke at 14

48. i stole for the first time at 16 ( it was lipgloss relax)

49. i have always wanted to do something crazy and spontaneous but have never had the cash

50. im scared of heights and planes take me to a whole new level of hysteria.

51. my first kiss was on March 27th 2005 when i was 18 and it was the most amazing kiss i have ever had since.. i literally saw fireworks.

60. I want to name my furture baby Adelinda... in portuguese the linda means beutiful, and i love the portuguese.

61. I have never been on vacation without my parents

62. i hate hate hate having to move from my moms, to my dads and then back to my moms every other week, its exhausting!

63. i have only been with 2 guys my whole life but look in awe at those woman so comfortable with themselves and so confident that they could be with anyone they choose at any time without getting attached. im not sure if its a good thing or not but i want to be like that just a little because your only young once.

68. i replay entire conversations in my head sometimes wonderjing how they could have gone differently had i said this or done that

69. i dont believe in regrets... you did what you did because you wanted to at the time and it was therefore the correct choice to make when you made it because its what you wanted. make sense?

70. i want to have a wedding. partially because of the man and mostly because i get to dress up like a princess, get tanked and dance like an animal!
