Falling Up

The irony of this is that one of the first books of poetry that i read when i was a child was Falling Up. I dont remember the authors name although i think he was some big shot writer guy with one of those names that just sound right like Ray Daniels or Janet Jackson.. just flows.

Anyways the reason i tell you this is because i have a tendancy to actually fall up the stairs. i have been doing in for as long as i can remember and it has always striked me as an oddity that i am not prone to falling down the stairs instead.
It just seems that when i am going up the stairs i get so excited to get to the top that my body actually leans forward and goes ahead of my legs, at that point i usually tip over or lurch forward and then inevitably slide down.

So theres this hot guy at work. never noticed him before but he is just beautiful! blue blue eyes dark brown hair and i think he's an archetect or something which just ties in the sexy factor. ya i dont know why something about the fact that they can draw out a whole building and get all mathematical (something i could never do) is very hot. so anywho im out having a smoke and he's there talking to his boss next to the back door, which so hapens to be the door i am walking towards. So we all go up together, me behind them, and all of a sudden SMACK i am falling up the stairs and inevitable slide back down.

i was wearing flats so i had no excuse! his response "flats are very difficult to walk in" my reaction " ya" (then blush and exit off stage left)
