The List

So sorry for being away so long my fellow bloggers (side note: thank you CBG for the concern! i just didnt have the time to blog this week or last week but im doing well :) )  the company i work for just moved offices last week, so currently i am typing to you from a desk situated in the middle of a room with my back facing the entrance, the worst part is they got me this new computer  monitor and  its huge.... this means that anyone walking by will know that i am writing a blog post and not in fact working... risky buisness, but y'all know me, im a rebel.

So last weekend i read a book, the name of which is completly embarrasing so i wont even tell you what its called. This book was funny and it really made me look at things differently, i find i began to quote certain lines to myself just because they made so much sense to me, they answered alot of questions.

It suggests a change, a change in how you do things, and how revamping yourself and reprioritizing how you spend your time  will ultimatley change how you feel about yourself... obviously... i know it seems like a "duh" type of statement but how many of us have had to have something told to them a certain way before they get it? no matter how simple the logic, this book said it in the right way for me.

So one of the first suggetsions is to make a list of goals, things you may have always wanted to do, and then do them, one step at a time, one day at a time. So i thought what the hell, lets do it! its blog material and it'll give me something to do in between drinking binges (relax im kidding............. or am i)

The list of all the things ive always  wanted to do
1. wear red lipstick
2.  Rearrange my room, design it and all
3.  Get a freelance writing job
4.  Send out my short stories
5.  Go shopping for those items that i love but didnt think id ever wear
6.  Wear all that stuff
7. Take up photography. (aka. pick up a camera and start taking pics)
8. Get those straight across the forehead type bangs
9 Night out in yorkville
10. lose weight... always on my list.
11. go to a rock concert
12. Go see a broadway play
13. go to an art gallery
14. learn to play the piano
15. Bake a cake ( not just any cake.... the best.cake.ever)

im going to buy the camera first and document my progress through this list with you guys. The list will likely grow as i go along and i'll update it if it does. I think if i go through the list with you guys it will make it all the more fun ( sounds corny but  i couldnt think up a better word for it) . So do you guys have lists like this? whats something you wanted to do but felt you didnt have the balls to do,  or just never got around to it?

Um I don't find you as one to not tell us the book that you are reading due to the title being embarrassing. You did a post about embarrassing moments, you do recall that right? :P We must know the name of this book I tell you!

1. Lose weight
2. Buy a corset ~*second because I have to lose weight first.*~
3. Go ghost hunting for the reals

Glad you are okay, sorry about the office situation and welcome back!
