(i apapologize in advance for the horrible layout! its difficult to fix thse posts when the sales team keeps walking by my computer for no real reason... seriously guys, go cold call someone! shit)
You dont know this about me but i love movies, old movies.
I love to hear Lauren Becall say to Humphrey Bogart " you know how to whistle dontcha steve, you just put your lips together and blow." Or the way Audrey Hepburn screamed "just you wait enry iggins just you wai!" from the bottom of the staircase, in that horrible English accent which i cant help but imitate whenever i see My Fair Lady.

| James Stewart in Harvey, who doesn't love James Stewart! |
I love the dresses and the hats, the way The Women scrapped, the way Ginger Rogers danced, and the way Cary Grant handled his ladies... btw if he were 20 something today, id marry him without question.
Old movies are like dark chocolate.. you don't eat it the same way you'd eat a kit kat, you eat it slowly and savour it. Some people cant handle the slow storyline, or the language, or even the expressions... i eat it up!

| The Women, great film! Although the new one with Jada Pinkett Smith gets some serious points as a remake, i like thiis one best! |
The first time i fell in love with old movies was while i was watching Gigi, with Audrey Hepburn. Its a movie about raising an escort.. a female escort! and they did it in such a way as to make it seem wholesome. You'd never guess that Gigi's grandmother was in fact in charge of turning her beautiful young granddaughter into an escort would you!? smart ass writers... i love it!
I often find myself spending my saturdays with TCM marathons, the best kind of marathon, and thats just what i did this saturday while going in and out of my pain killer coma.
Then Robert Osborn said something that made my heart skip a beat.... TCM is having a Film Festival in Hollywood California this coming April! I wanna, i wanna, i. wanna!! problem: who would go with
Have you ever really wanted to go do something but you knew no one would go with you? well im going regardless! i mean common... ive just admitted to all of you how big a fan i am of James Stewart, really will going alone loose me any cool points? lets face it anyone whose a James Stewart fan has a life time supply of cool points! am i right ppl? How about you dear readers? any old movie fans out there? if so which one's your fave and why?
