I posed the question to my lovely ladies today "Guys give me a topic, anything! im shooting blanks" well i got my answers and so i decided to showcase my one true talent that i get from my mild case of ADD and word diarrhea; switching from one topic to another one like clockwork.
Kinda like a game show.... or Trivial Pursuit... *cracks knuckles* lets do this shit.
1. Tasha says, "Life after death"
I believe in the new age thing about energy, I believe in Karma, I believe in a God, and i believe that this world is too infinite and amazing for any of us to truly understand it. But there are certain things we know for sure, what you put out into the world other people can sense, and what you put into the ground will grow.
So lets say someone dies and the energy that was their soul is released, and becomes recylced somehow. Maybe part of this energy becomes that cozy feeling you sense when you get home after work, maybe some of it becomes good karma or that push that keeps our loved ones going.
Some of us get buried... things grow from the ground we are buried in.... what grows gets eaten.... what eats gets eaten. Maybe part of us become food for a child or even a tree, and a part of what we were lives again for a while. Whatever the form i think in some way we are born again, and we become everything, everywhere and in a sense a part of everyone.
2. Alexa says " how birthdays are over rated"
A birthday is a celebration of the day that you graced this world with your presence. I dont think they are overated, i just think people have some strange misconception that a birthday is for the people invited. But it should be a day to celebrate that you live, that you breath, and that your momma was nice enough to keep pushing your fat head through her vagina!! It should actually be a day to celebrate your mothers ability to keep you alive this long but its not, and its also not a day where you make sure everyones having a good time, or that everyone shows up.
Is it their day i ask you? NO... did they come out of their nice soft homes through a lemon sized hole into the discomfort of latex gloves and strange smells on this day? NO, they have their own damn day for that!!! this ones yours! So one day a year i find something... anything... that i wanted to do all year, and then i just do it. Maybe a birthday celebration isnt over rated, just misdirected.
3. Mal Mal says "Self Esteem"
I think that once you truly accept yourself, good bad and ugly parts included, then you'll find that your self esteem will always be intact.
I have never met anyone who does this as well as Amal does. This may be because she was raised to understand people who are not all together understandable, and in this way, also had to learn to understand herself. But she doesnt just accept the bad parts in the way you expect, she gets down deep into the heart of it and admits things to herself that most people dont want to.
You know how sometimes you have too much pride to admit whats really upsetting you? or maybe you feel that in some way your feelings, or the person you are, shame or embarrass you? Its like these things dont get in Amals way or something, and i think thats probably the key to self esteem. To be fearless in the discovery of who you are without shame.
See that shit?? imagine having an actual everyday convo with me.... It gets exhausting.
Thats all for today folks! If you actually read all that.... i thank you :)
