Note: Okay guys, i attempted to move these photos around so that they merged with the text, but being technologically impared.... it ain't workin out!

This is my Lil bro Pat, Me, lil sis Cole, and my sis Lex
of my sisters
So i was in a meeting last friday and something strange happened.. a confrontation between two sales reps.
Our president showed up at this meeting and pretty much ripped everyone a new one for not doing well last quarter. He stated that the sales reps needed to be more proactive in coming up with new ways to sell our companies products.
So in the midst of the meeting this guy Travis speaks out and says something about how each meeting we seem to have one of these convos and that he feels that the sales reps have done well considering the circumstances each faces... ya not sure if he should have said this but whateves it is what it is. Alistair who is the golden boy in these here parts says " oh ya how many * our products name* have you sold this quarter" WOW! okay this is when i think "hey bud wtf!?"
you know why? because i have 4 younger siblings and as a child i have learned certain things about how to act when in the presence of authority, and also how to be part of a team. These rules have stuck with me in most aspects of my life thus far.

These rules are :
1. NEVER call out one of your team mates when the authority is in the room giving you a lecture! you go in there as a unit, get in trouble as a unit and anything you have to say you say it when the authority has left the building!!
2. NEVER snitch.
3. NEVER allow another to take the rap for your bad... you know they are not going to snitch so if they get into trouble your going have to come clean yourself.
4. ALWAYS back each other up. if one of you falls into hard times or is having a hard time you have to rally together to be each others cheer squad, helping hand or just a ear to listen if they need that. pretty much your in there corner!
5. ALWAYS be humble. you do not want to make another one of your team mates feel like shit because your out there bragging about what you have like your the golden child. its not cool, its irritating... and inconsiderate
6. NEVER kiss ass to get on the authorities good side!
These were taught to me through experience with having siblings in my life. as a child i followed these rules and as an adult at work and on a marketing team, these are rules i follow as well.
Now im not sure how true it is for everyone else, but i feel as though people who grew up as an only child do not follow the same life rules that i do. because of this being in a team environment doesn't always work out for them. they don't understand how a unit works the same way i do.
This Alistair guy at the meeting is the golden boy. he kisses ass whenever he gets a chance and will probably never be fired from this job because of that. So i guess it has its benefits right.
but which is worse... pissing your team off so that you will not get backed up when you need it or backing up the team and possibly going against the authority because of that?
and do you think the same way about life rules being connected to having siblings in your life? am i missing any?
