THIS JUST IN: they turned the pressure on!!!

So it would seem that today my lovely boss decided she was going to give me responsibilities. Now i have always had responsibilities you could say but never like this.

just after i wrote that last blog post (and please see it below i think its pretty good) i was called into her office. She pretty much told me that i am now to take care of our upcomng trade show and updates to our company literature..... by myself.

Thats right, i am now the person who signs off on the edits, i am now going it alone, i am heading projects without help. They let me off the leash people, and im scurred!

I know i shouldnt be but ive only been working here 5 months and they pretty much just said " alright connie this is it! time for you to leap into a heaping pile of stress and performance anxiety!"


now im a writer, or inleast i like to think of myself as one, i enjoy words! but being in marketing is not just about the copy (which actually means the wording i just learned that last month, fuck im not prepared for this) but about the designs to. i am design impaired! when my sister, who is in graphic design, asks me what i think of her latest brochure i generally say something along the lines of " oooo pretty colors"

i mean look at my blog people!!! does this look like the blog of someone who knows about design? or expression through images?? ya i didnt think so!

so please keep your fingers crossed that i dont fuck this up large, and me? im going out for another smoke and a self administered ego boost! after which im gonna get in this office and begin my transformation into a self assured business woman and not a 23 year old serial procrastinator who doesn't know what she wants to do with her life!
