get up lazy ass!

 I woke up this morning and silently wished that i was one of those stay at home wives who wakes up at 12pm and feng shui's the house, then goes of to yoga,  and the only thing i'd have to be on time  for is a  mani and pedi which i would naturally take my pomaranian to because my "snuggles" gets lonley when he's home alone... *sigh* the life my step mom has.....anyways  i digress.

 My morning routine is as follows (not that you give a shit but this is going somewhere i promise)

1) my alarm clock goes off at 5:15am,   i hit the snooze button violentley... because anything that wakes me up before 6:00am needs to die.

2)  the alarm on my phone goes off at 6:00am with the sounds of a spanish guitar... i thought it would be nice to wake up to a spanish guitar last night when i set that tune.... i would like to go back in time and smack me one.

 The pop up message on the screen reads " get up off your ass and get to work!" (arent i clever trying to talk to my future self?) i whisper a tiny "fuck you" and then press the snooze option.

3) my mom bangs on my door at 7:00am  " connie! you going to work?!!!" for reasons im unsure of  because my mom used to pull me out of bed by my legs to get me up in the mornings i spring out of bed in a panic.

4) I grab a jacket from the floor because its 0 degrees in my room ( my mom let my step dad do the heating in the house... my rooms the only one the heat doesn't get to. Im sure this is pay back for years of "  MY MOMMY!" touche tony..... touche)

5)  i circle my collection of clothing lying on the floor, because thats where i keep my wardrobe in case you were wondering

6) when i finally find something that doesn't smell and isnt dirty i put it on, and run out of the house with the image of my bosses drawn on eyebrows raised in a "  YOUR FIRED" kinda way.

7)  i  plop down at my desk, usually 5 minutes late, and read blogs until ive had my second cup of coffee..... which brings me to my point, i know i know, about fucking time......

go ahead and wake up with my fave blogs  <--  that sounded all gimicky and shit! i should do commercials for a living eh? instead of whatever it is i get paid to do!
