tick tock, tick tock

Still waiting over here.  even called my own phone to see if it was working yesterday when i didnt recieve a call by 4 pm.

Im still hopefull, i was told that even if i wasnt chosen i would still be notified, so maybe the decision just hasn't been made yet. And even if they havent chosen me well  ill just have to suck it up here at the office and wait for the right door to open! HMPF....

But im the most impatient girl i know so if i dont get a call soon to end the suspence, im gonna be all nerves all day.

Unfortunatley im in a bit of a whinny mood, due to all the waiting, and i wouldnt want you guys to read through a boring post filled with me bitching so....

I hate the holidays, lets list the reasons why shall we?

1. Firstly i dislike hugging and due to the chestnuts on the open fire, and the "fa la la la la's" the christmas season  brings people out of their personal bubbles and into mine. i repeat.. get out of my bubble, you can easily say "Merry Christmas " standing an arms length away!

2. I live in Canada. i dont know if i have to elaborate on why christmas sucks in Canada, but lets just say, ice, snow, turning on your car at 7 am while its still dark outside and your half asleep (thats the worst eh? feeling -10 weather half asleep) then  having to wait for a half hour for the inside of your car to rise above freezing  so you can drive through snow, and ice.... god i hate winter.

3. Kids. They turn into little gremlins when its the season for santa clause.. again im not sure if i have to elobrate... youve all seen what toys, and candy, and the man in the red suit can do to a child. Its scary.

4. Shopping, Malls,  Mall parking lots,  the teenage cashiers who look like they would rather melt into nothingness then ring in your purchase,  the crowds. Throwing your hard earned cash out the window and waving goodbye sadly to all the shoes you could have bought with it, but instead spent it on toys for little gremlins.

5. Wrapping paper.  Wrapping gifts,  I wasnt given that skill. I dont know how to cut a long piece of wrapping paper in a straight line, or how much is needed for a paticular size box, and i always end up using mounds of tape to conceal various holes in the wrapping  if i ran out. You dont even want to know what i do if i find ive used too much wrapping paper. Put it this way, everyone knows which gifts are from me come christmas morning.

6. Sappy holiday movies that make me cringe uncomfortably at their corniness.

okay thats all ive got for today guys, sorry obout the scourginess, happy Thursday!   fingers crossed that i get the call! :)
