I know this is kinda boring stuff here but i feel the need to report my progress so
Day 1 recap:
8:00 - 9:00 : 3 ciggs
11:00am : 1 cigg
11:30 am : 1 cigg
12:00pm : 1 cigg
1:30 pm : 1 cigg
2:30 pm : 1 cigg
4:00 pm : 1 cigg
5:00pm: 1 cigg
6:30 pm: 1 cigg
7:00 - 10:00 : 5 ciggs
that's right.. epic FAIL! that equals 16 ciggs yesterday instead of my intended 10 meaning i went over by 6.
but that's okay though! we start again today
Day 2:
8:00 - 8:30 : 2 ciggs
9:30 : 1 cigg
that means i am allowed to have 7 more today. 7 NOT 8, 7 NOT 10!!! sorry the caps lock was more for me then for you guys lol! I'm gonna go and get some gum today i hear that helps, and my plan is to let the craving pass before i allow myself to have a smoke.
My body needs to get used to craving but not receiving! this way i can fight it off!my co-worker just walked in here and gave me the signal for smoke break, i said no even though my nerves are screaming " YESSSS connie please give us a bit more nicotine pllleeeaasseee"
The fact that i said no is already an accomplishment. i took addictions psychology in university lol not that that means shit all but i did learn how to reward myself based on small accomplishments, instead of harping on epic fails.
its like training a dog. when your dog is whining and crying in its crate you do not let it out until it calms down, otherwise your dog will believe that whining equals out. so when I'm craving a smoke so bad that im bitting my nails off and bouncing my leg at a impressive speed, i will not allow myself a smoke. because the jitters do not equal cigg. If i can do that then i get a pat on the back, i reward my self with something like my fav candy or a new purse if i can manage to control cravings like that all week.
that's all i really have to say today guys. I want to tell you about my two dates with greek boy friday and Sunday but im not sure what to make of them yet. Im gonna try writing out my thoughts on them later today, right now all i can think about is nicotine.

It's an addiction, and it will be hard at first. Your determination, that I see you have, will get you through this. You also have the support of the blog world out there to back you up!
I love how you are trying to talk yourself into sticking with SEVEN not EIGHT...SEVEN not TEN! ~Laughing~
You can do this! I was a smoker. You just need to go for 3 days without one smoke, then you're good. You can do this!
I've just quit smoking too. Not the easiest thing to do in the world so I can relate completely. I think you're doing a good job.
